M.J. Graham Returns To Federal League With Columbus
Columbus, GA - After spending all of last season in the LNAH, M.J. Graham is making a return to the Federal Prospects Hockey League with the Columbus River Dragons in 2019-20.
"I'm really excited about this new chapter in my hockey career" Graham said. "Thrilled to have signed with a top notch organization. From top to bottom this organization has every piece to be a successful hockey club and I'm really excited to get to work on and off the ice to make our goal of winning a championship happen in Columbus!"
Graham has been a professional since the 2014-15 season where he debuted in the Federal league with the now-defunct Steel City Warriors. Since then he played for a number of teams across the SPHL, FPHL and LNAH the latter of which was his most recent stop where he appeared in 18 games last season. In the Federal League Graham has 180 points and 59 goals to his credit.
"I'm happy to have MJ back as my teammate" player/assistant coach Jay Croop said. "I was with him a few years back, he is a very skilled player and can fly out there. We are beyond excited to pick him up."
Graham brings a wealth of experience to the team as well. Prior to turning pro, Graham played juniors from Oregon to Quebec and almost everywhere in between. If you count his midget hockey (U16-18) career in Canada, Graham has been playing high-level organized hockey since the 2008-09 season.
The Columbus River Dragons add another piece to the puzzle as they get ready for training camp in October ahead of the start to their inaugural season October 25th against the Delaware Thunder.
