Siraj Abdullah

Dr. Siraj Abdullah’s clinical interests are in sports medicine, concussions, regenerative medicine, adolescent health, child obesity, dermatological disorders and procedures. He has faculty positions at Auburn Campus Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and Associate Team Physician at Auburn University. He has previously served as a faculty in Family Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery at University of South Carolina.

Siraj is a professional member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American Osteopathic Association of Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, the South Carolina Medical Association and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama.

Joe Largeman

Team Dentist

Dr. Joseph Largeman is a graduate of Northwestern Dental School of Chicago, Illinois, and has over 19 years of clinical experience in all phases of general dentistry. He holds the following memberships:

• The American Dental Association
• The Academy of General Dentistry
• The Georgia Dental Association
• The Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity

Dr. Largeman regularly attends continuing education seminars to stay current with advances with dental technology and materials. He also has specialized training in Dental Sleep Medicine, and can treat snoring and sleep apnea.

Jay Brodwyn

Team Chiropractor

Dr. Jay attended the University of Miami and then entered the prestigious Life Chiropractic College where he graduated in 1981. After working in Atlanta, he moved to Columbus and began to fulfill his passion, opening his business in 1982.

He has taken postgraduate training in extremity adjustment, Activator Methods, Sports Medicine, and the 100 Hour Erhardt Advanced X-ray Certification. In 2011 he finished a rigorous course in the non-surgical treatment of scoliosis.

Dr. Jay is a past member of the Columbus Jaycees, Rotary Club, Toastmasters and was a Senior Arbitrator of the Better Business Bureau. He is a past member of the Executive Board of the PTA, and served on the executive committee of the United Way.

In 2004, he was voted Chiropractor of the Year in the southeastern United States. Dr. Jay lives in Columbus with his wife Cindy and two daughters both of whom are married and reside in Columbus.

Dr. Ken Calain

Team Chiropractor

As part of Brodwyn & Associates, Dr. Ken is the dedicated team chiropractor for the Columbus River Dragons, a role he has held since 2020. A graduate of Life University in Marrietta Georgia, Dr. Calain served as a faculty member in the radiology department. Dr Ken is pursuing his postdoctoral certification as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner. With over 20 years of practice experience, he has also served as the team chiropractor for the Columbus Lions and the previous NISL Columbus Rapids.

Dr. Calain lives in Columbus with his wife, Manda, and their eight children. In his free time, he enjoys camping, golfing, and attending River Dragons games with his family. Dr. Ken is committed to enhancing the health and performance of the River Dragons through his extensive expertise in sports chiropractic care.
